Ned from Game of Thrones
season 2 hurry up!
As she slept amidst the rolling grasslands, Catelyn dreamt that Bran was whole again, that Arya and Sansa held hands, that Rickon was still a babe at her breast. Robb, crownless, played with a wooden sword, and when all were safe asleep, she found Ned in her bed, smiling. Sweet it was, sweet and gone too soon. - Catelyn II, A Clash of Kings
canNOT wait for season 2.
Not today…
I’m breaking my resolution to read only chick lit and children’s books for grown-ups this summer because look! These beauties are sitting on my bed. Enjoying the sexy whistles of approval. Begging to be caressed. Carlos surprised me with Stieg Larsson’s books (that I’ve been pining for since last year) when we had a BreadTalk picnic on the frisbee field one random afternoon. He lent me George Martin’s series because he wants me to feel the same giddy fanboy emotions he has while watching Game of Thrones on HBO (the fourth book is held hostage by his friend and will be rescued after I finish the third one).
And so begins the devouring of my reading list for the month of May.
game of thrones on HBO is pretty good so far. i have to admit tho that i don’t read any of martin’s books, so my boyfriend (who devours martin’s book like a maniac) has to explain to me a lot of stuff to help me make sense of the show (it’s not a very non-reader-friendly show i think, but oh well). i’ve just watched till episode 2, looking forward to watching episode 3. ;)
